Q: Can my auto glass be repaired instead of being replaced?

A: Typically, a vehicle's windshield is the only glass that is repaired. Most auto glass on a vehicle will shatter when impacted by a rock or other debris which makes replacement auto glass necessary. Windshields, however, use a different kind of glass that is shatter-resistant. When foreign objects hit a windshield small cracks of bubbles (rock-chips) often form which can be repaired.

Q: How long does it take to replace auto glass?

A: The typical auto glass replacement can be completed in an hour or less. Normally, the urethane would need time to cure before it would be safe to drive the vehicle. At Ocean Glass, however, we only use quick-cure urethane kits which mean you can drive away as soon as the work's been completed!

Q: How soon can your technicians replace my auto glass?

Q: What's the difference between OEM and OEE glass?

A: Our technicians install OEM-equivalent (OEE) auto glass. That means that the replacement glass you'll get from us will be the same piece of glass that was installed when the vehicle was made, it just might be from a different manufacturer.

Q: Will my vehicle be damaged during the replacement process?

A: No, your vehicle is in good hands with us. While replacing your auto glass, we'll make sure to take precautions to avoid damaging your vehicle.
