1. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to www.oceanglasscompany.com and the website forms operated for Ocean Glass Company. It does not control the privacy practices of independent websites or services reached through external links.

2. Information you choose to provide

The information Ocean Glass receives depends on how you contact the shop.

• Contact form: your name, either a phone number or email address, service type, message, and optional project town.
• Auto glass quote request: your name, phone number or email address, damaged-glass area, vehicle year, make, model, ZIP code, and any optional body style, trim, VIN or notes you choose to provide. Project photos may be shared separately by email.
• Direct contact: information you provide during a telephone call, email exchange, or later service conversation.

Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card numbers, account passwords, medical information, or other information that is not needed to discuss a glass project.

3. Information collected automatically

When you use the site, website hosting, security, analytics, and measurement services may automatically receive technical information. Depending on the service and your device settings, this may include an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, interaction events, date and time, and approximate geographic information derived from an IP address.

The production setup uses Google Tag Manager for optional analytics and advertising measurement. These tools are not loaded until you allow at least one optional category in Cookie preferences. The corresponding Google consent signals are updated to reflect your choices. Personalized advertising remains disabled in this setup.

If you allow website analytics, the site also loads Microsoft Clarity to help Ocean Glass understand navigation, clicks, scrolling, technical problems, and general interaction patterns through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity is not loaded when website analytics is declined. Contact and quote forms are explicitly masked so their contents are not included in Clarity recordings.

4. Advertising-attribution information

If you arrive through an advertisement and allow advertising measurement, the site may store Google click identifiers such as gclid , wbraid , or gbraid , together with the landing-page path and capture time, in that browser's local storage for up to 90 days. The saved landing page excludes query strings and fragments. This information may accompany a submitted inquiry to help connect it with the advertising visit that led to it. The site clears its stored attribution when advertising permission is withdrawn.

After Web3Forms confirms a successful form response, the production site may send a lead-success event through Google Tag Manager when website analytics is allowed. The current website code does not place the visitor's name, phone number, email address, message, vehicle details, VIN, claim number, or uploaded files in that analytics event.

5. How Ocean Glass uses information

Ocean Glass may use information collected through the site to:

• respond to questions and quote requests;
• identify the vehicle, glass, equipment, project, and service location;
• discuss availability and coordinate requested work;
• communicate using the phone number or email address provided;
• protect the site and forms from spam, abuse, or security problems;
• maintain records connected with inquiries, quotes, services, insurance coordination, and customer support;
• understand website use and improve navigation, content, forms, and advertising measurement; and
• comply with applicable legal, accounting, insurance, safety, or dispute-resolution obligations.

6. Website hosting, forms, analytics, and other providers

Ocean Glass uses providers that support the operation of this website and its communications:

• Netlify provides hosting, content delivery, and related platform services for the new website. Review Netlify's privacy statement.
• Web3Forms processes contact and quote submissions and forwards the submitted fields to the Ocean Glass email destination. Web3Forms stores submitted data. The current retention setting for the Ocean Glass form is three years, unless data is deleted earlier. Copies delivered to the shop's email are handled separately under Ocean Glass's recordkeeping practices. Web3Forms also uses infrastructure and spam-prevention providers to process submissions. • Google provides tag management and may provide analytics or advertising measurement. Review Google's privacy policy and cookie information.
• Microsoft Clarity provides optional website analytics, session recordings, and heatmaps after website analytics permission is granted. Ocean Glass uses these reports to identify usability and technical problems. Contact and quote forms are masked. Review Microsoft's privacy statement and Clarity privacy information.
• Email, communications, insurance, and business-service providers may process information when needed to deliver a message, respond to a request, coordinate a claim or service, maintain records, or support business operations.

Provider services and policies may change independently of Ocean Glass. Their own terms and privacy notices govern their processing.

7. When information may be disclosed

Information may be disclosed to employees, contractors, technicians, and service providers who need it to respond to the request or support business operations. Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect people or property, investigate misuse, enforce rights, or complete a business reorganization or transfer subject to applicable law.

8. Retention

Ocean Glass may retain inquiries and related business records for as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide or document service, handle insurance or accounting matters, resolve disputes, protect the business, and meet legal obligations. Different records may have different retention periods. Browser attribution stored by the site expires after approximately 90 days. Cookie-preference choices are remembered in this browser for up to 180 days before a new choice is requested; providers may maintain their own logs and records under their policies.

Withdrawing website analytics permission sends a denied signal to Clarity and clears its cookies in this browser. Withdrawing advertising permission updates the Google consent signals and clears this site's advertising-attribution record. Changing a choice does not automatically delete data already sent to a provider.
• You may control or delete cookies and local storage through browser settings. Blocking some technologies may affect site measurement or functionality.
• You may contact Ocean Glass to ask about correcting or deleting information previously submitted through the website, subject to identity verification and any legal or business recordkeeping requirements.

11. Children's privacy

This website is intended for people seeking vehicle, residential, commercial, shower, or specialty glass services. It is not directed to children under 13, and Ocean Glass does not knowingly request personal information from children through the website. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information may contact Ocean Glass.

12. External links
